Your chance to win a VIP trip to the Spruce Meadows Masters Tournament!
The foals at Spruce Meadows represent a prized heritage. They carry the esteemed bloodlines of the Hanoverian horse, whose ancestry can be traced back to 1735. Each of these foals has the potential of one day leading the victory ride at a major championship.
These beautiful foals have everything but a name – and that’s where we need your help! This year, TELUS is thrilled to present Name the Foal. This is your opportunity to name one of these future show jumpers for a chance to win a VIP trip to the Spruce Meadows Masters Tournament, September 10-14.
At TELUS, a friendly future is woven into the fabric of our culture, and what better fit for the future is there than the foals of Spruce Meadows? Enter now by visiting telus.com/namethefoal. Share your entry on Twitter using #NametheFoal and you’ll be entered to win a TELUS smartphone!
Things to keep in mind:
- In the centuries old tradition of the Hanoverian breed, the name of each foal must begin with the first letter of its sires’ name – so this year, each name must begin with the letter ‘L’ as Le Primeur was the foals’ father
- Get creative! Funny, silly, regal or wacky we want to hear as many names as possible
- You can learn more about each of the foals on the contest site, or stay tuned to CBC Sports during the Spruce Meadows telecasts this summer
Meet the foals in person this summer at Spruce Meadows
If you’re in the Calgary area, be sure to come down to Spruce Meadows during the Nationals Tournament June 6-8 and North American Tournament July 4-6 and have your picture taken with the foals live at the TELUS Pavilion!
