With work and school deadlines mixed in with our own social obligations it can be easy to forget the bigger picture: each of us is part of something bigger. From coast to coast, we are all part of a bigger community and we need to do our part to give where we live.
We believe that seeing fellow Canadians giving back can spark inspiration. One act of good inspires the next one. We call this pay-it-forward mentatlity #TheGivingEffect.
This year, as part of TELUS Days of Giving we brought together 20,000 TELUS team members, retirees, family and friends across the country and around the world to participate in more than 1,000 local volunteer activities to make positive lasting impacts within our communities and to help spread #TheGivingEffect.
To help spread the word, we asked Canadian digital influencers and YouTube personalities to create their own pop-up activities for causes they were passionate about. Here’s what they came up with:
