Oliver’s Story: TELUS helps Oliver to speak for the first time through the power of technology

The Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre has been the beneficiary of significant funding from TELUS’ Ottawa Community Board (OCTC). Through their generosity, OCTC provides opportunities for children and youth with special needs to grow and experience success by providing therapeutic recreational programming; specialized equipment; new computers and state of the art instructional tools. Receiving financial gifts from community partners like TELUS enhances our ability to enrich our programming resources, which directly benefits the children and youth we support each and every day.

This video of Oliver, his family and the OCTC School illustrates what a difference we’re able to make in children’s lives, and most importantly, it highlights Oliver’s energy, wit and brilliance as a learner. I hope you enjoy it as much as all of us at the School have.

Thank you TELUS’ Ottawa Community Board!
