Yesterday, heavy rain drenched southern Alberta resulting in severe flooding in many areas in and around Calgary. More than 100,000 Albertans, including our TELUS customers and team members, have been affected by this disaster in our own backyard.
Our TELUS team knows how disheartening it can be when faced with a crisis situation. This is a time for friends, family and neighbours to rally together and support one another.
We’ve mobilized our teams on the ground to ensure we maintain service to our customers, but we have also pulled together to give our team members and customers an opportunity to help their family, friends and neighbours.
TELUS has launched a special text-to-donate program to help you support those affected by the flood.
Always quick to lend a hand, our TELUS Community Ambassadors are also handing out Care Kits to families staying in community centres as a result of flooding or evacuation orders.
