TELUS gives Pier-Olivier a night to remember

Pier-Olivier is a 13-year-old boy who suffers from a rare genetic disease. But mostly, he is a typical boy and wants to be a hockey goalie next year. He loves animals and dreams of owning a zoo one day. TELUS was touched by Pier-Olivier’s story and wanted to do something special for him. We invited him and his family to watch a Quebec Remparts game from the TELUS Box, which was specially decorated in a jungle theme. Pier-Oliver dropped the puck for the ceremonial opening face-off, was given a tour of the players’ locker room, and even met his favourite players.

You can watch the video of this magical evening here.

For 10 years now, TELUS has been teaming up with Opération Enfant Soleil to help children like Pier-Olivier. Thanks to our customers and our team members, to date TELUS has given nearly $3 million to Opération Enfant Soleil, to help provide quality pediatric care for Quebec’s sick children. As Pier-Olivier so aptly put it, “that much money is enough to have made a lot of booboos better!”

Help us raise awareness of the plight of sick children in Quebec by joining the more than 100 people who have already shared Pier-Olivier’s story on their social networks.

Champion the cause

Until December 31, TELUS will give $25 to Opération Enfant Soleil for each new device activation with a SharePlus plan, and $50 each time a device is added to the data sharing option.

We want to rally our customers around the causes that mean the most to them. Opération Enfant Soleil is an all-time favourite, and together we can help make Quebec’s future brighter by investing in the health of children like Pier-Olivier.
