I buy from online retailers that are part of an effort to give back to developing countries. I love designers who crowdsource for young talent to support. I shop at the small grocery store down the road from where I live because they donate regularly to my kids’ schools. I want to love a brand as much as I love their products.
I know I’m stating the obvious – we’re all beginning to care more and more about what we support through the purchases we make. Simon Sinek understands this very well and put it perfectly when he said, “People don’t buy what you do; they buy why you do it. And what you do simply proves what you believe.”
